Wayne Walkway & Stream Bed
We love the opportunity to do a full property transformation for our clients. It’s so often that we’re called back to perform another job, we know clients make the right choice when they decide to finish it all in one shot. In this case, we installed a pathway as well as a dry stream bed. This is the perfect combination because the stream bed often keeps water from slicking the walkway and creating a safety hazard.

A Wayne property project…
These clients needed a new walkway to their front and service entry doors. First we removed the old, gapped, machine cut flagstone and stockpiled it on site for another future project. Then we created a 4’ wide irregular flagstone walkway from their driveway to the front door with a spur to the service entry. The new walkway has a softly curving appearance and fits in beautifully with the setting in the woods.
With the hardscaping in place we removed old, obsolete shrubs and replaced them with new appropriate deer resistance material. Spring flowering narcissus and other bulbs, along with sequential blooming perennials completed the transformation.
Also included in this job was the creation of a dry stream bed along the swale in their lawn and along side of the new pathway to divert run off water from their front foundation. Check out the photos below.
