We’ve had some beautiful fall weather, but it’s still seriously dry. Please continue to water your new (and even last year’s) plants once a week so they go into the winter with ample moisture around their roots.
Many plant fatalities occur in winter (especially broadleaf evergreens) when winds dry out the tops of plants and there is not sufficient moisture in the soil to accommodate for this.
Protect your investment. Please water. You’ll be happy you did next spring.
