Japanese Maple Anchored by Native Plants and a Pathway
This couple was tired of their existing yard. We used their only request, that we include a Japanese Maple, to anchor the rest of our design. It features native shrubs, and a pathway to their AC unit, concealed by custom fencing that provided a perfect spot to hang their hose. See this project.
A Rockery Provides a Perfect Planting Nook for These Berwyn Homeowners
By using a combination of smaller boulders and squarer rock we created a retainer/rockery with nooks and crannies where smaller shrubs and perennials could be planted. See this project.
Creating a Soothing Oasis for a Client in Malvern
After cleaning up the overgrown weeds on the border of the existing brick patio, we replanted with site-appropriate shrubs and perennials. For the water feature, we used the existing timber retaining wall as a backdrop and to give height for the cascading waterfall and excavated for the pond. See this project. See this project.
Retaining Wall Featuring a Garden With Year-Round Color
One of the most important elements of a garden is that it maintains color all throughout the year. The key is to choose native plants with complementary growing seasons and give them room to grow. For these homeowners, we also constructed a boulder retainer with a step way leading through the garden. See this project.
A Flagstone Walkway Passes Through a Charming Garden of Native Plants
We made a number of updates to this property in Wayne. We added a dry-laid stone wall made of Colonial Wall Stone, planted a garden, and designed a stepping stone pathway with gapped flagstones leading to the bench. The front walk leading to this area is a pattern flagstone walkway.
A Retaining Wall Creates a Pleasing Border Where Patio Meets Yard
This natural boulder wall functions as a retaining wall, maintaining the patio that tucks itself beneath the rest of the backyard. The space where the top of the wall meets the lawn is a great home for a garden of native perennials.
Transforming this Berwyn Yard With a New Flagstone Patio
We used irregular flagstone to emphasize the natural shape of the stone and transform this outdoor space into a relaxing patio area where the homeowners can enjoy their garden.
Loyal Client in Devon Calls Us Back 20 Years Later
These former clients called us back to their wooded land 20 years after we completed other jobs for them. We were delighted for the opportunity to work with them again after they built an addition on their home. This project included creating an irregular flagstone patio, installing shrubs and adding a unique water feature. See this project.
Honoring Veterans with a Memorial Garden in Wilson Farm Park
We were honored to have the opportunity to work on this project in Wayne, which included planting a garden and setting irregular flagstone around kiosks. See this project.
An Irregular Flagstone Walkway Blends Seamlessly with Nature
This homeowner had a pin straight walkway that looked unnatural and lacked visual interest. We replaced it with an irregular flagstone walk that better blends in with the landscape. See this project.
