Naturescapes is a proud sponsor of the 18th Annual French Creek Iron Tour. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 French Creek Iron Tour looks a little different.
The Iron Tour Committee is working hard to reschedule an in-person ride later this year. But, to ensure a 2020 Iron Tour will happen, the race was decided to be held some-what virtually. The race is taking place from June 14-28 and all participants may choose to ride one of the classic Iron Tour routes, or ride from wherever is convenient! Links will be emailed to participants for cue sheets and RideWithGPS to registered riders.
Registered riders will receive a few perks this year:
- Iron Tour t-shirts
- Registration fee covered if an in-person ride is able to be hosted this year
- If an in-person ride is not able to be hosted this year, registered riders will receive a 10% discount on the 2021 Iron Tour
In Remembrance of Eleanor
Naturescapes strives to donate goods and services to nonprofit organizations that continuously create a fun and enjoyable outdoor spaces for individuals.
In remembrance to our friend and the Co-Founder of Iron Tour, Eleanor. Eleanor was very serious about her work but always found ways to bring humor into it. Eleanor had lots of property that she continued to put preservation into. We were and always will be proud to support her business.
We want to give a big thank you to French & Pickering for putting together this video & Dave Weber and Donna Delany, who produced the music.
Support French & Pickering
The French & Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust preserves open space where iron furnaces and forges served as cornerstones of industry in colonial Pennsylvania. The community-based organization’s mission is to preserve, steward, and connect people to the land in northern Chester County. French & Pickering works collaboratively with individual landowners, local and state governments, and other conservation organizations to ensure the preservation of the French and Pickering Creeks watersheds, which contain some of the most scenic lands in Pennsylvania.
