About French and Pickering
Founded in 1967, French and Pickering is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving natural resources in Northern Chester County. By working with local and state government and partnering with landowners, French and Pickering helps preserve endangered land in the area.
To prevent development of land and ultimately the destruction of natural habitats, landowners will entrust their property to French and Pickering. French and Pickering then sanctions the land with protected habitats for wildlife and trails for the public to enjoy. To date, French and Pickering has conserved more than 12,000 acres of land.
