We were approached by a representative of the Berwyn Veteran’s Association to bid on creating a memorial with four kiosks commemorating all the veterans who served in all foreign and domestic conflicts from the French & Indian wars to the present.
After we won the bid, among several other companies, we followed the basic design with some latitude for change granted to us by the representatives.
The site was graded and landscaped with room for the kiosks in the center. Macadam pathways were laid with granite emblems of the five branches of the military inserted in the paving. The kiosks were constructed, set in concrete and then irregular flagstone was set around them.
Many passersby are impressed by the finished product. We continue to receive rave reviews as more people visit the site.
The organizers installed a plaque thanking Naturescapes, among others, who helped create this reverent site.
