Chester Springs Pond Design

Get some inspiration from one our recent pond designs in Chester Springs:

This sprawling Chester County farmhouse along with its multiple additions over the years needed a safe and aesthetically pleasing access to the pool from their patio.  The new access also needed to be fashioned in a way to be in keeping with the aesthetics of the 150+-year-old farmhouse.

We created a safe, wide capstone stepper walkway going up the embankment.  At the mid-point a small patio was created using irregular flagstone to unite the hot tub and lawn areas.  Another step takes you up to the pool.

On one side of the embankment next to the step way we created a two-tier pond with a waterfall system.  The waterfall gives the soft sound of falling water throughout the whole area (pool, hot tub and patio).

These clients wasted no time in ‘stocking’ the natural pond with Koi and various gold fish species. Miscellaneous plantings and stepping stone walkways were added to other areas of the property giving pleasing and site appropriate accents. Spring flowering bulbs and sequential blooming perennials completed this project.
